New job, nice start. Allen Lo became chief legal officer of Madison Square Garden Entertainment on March 30, and the company’s new proxy puts his fiscal 2026 pay at $2,646,942 for roughly three months of work. Most of it is make-whole money: a $550,000 cash award for pay he forfeited at his last employer, plus a special RSU grant worth about $1.6 million. He also draws a separate paycheck as CLO of Sphere Entertainment.
The exit door pays too. Former general counsel Laura Franco, who left in October 2025, received $2.2 million, two times salary plus target bonus, and her stock awards vested on the way out. “Pursuant to the terms of his employment agreement, Mr. Lo was also provided a one-time cash award in the amount of $550,000, which was intended to compensate him for forfeited compensation from his previous employer and relocation costs and which is not included in the table above.”
