Fortune Brands Innovations, the Deerfield, Illinois company behind Moen, Master Lock and Therma-Tru, announced that Morgan Fox will join as executive vice president, chief legal officer and corporate secretary on December 2. She comes from Duravant, where she was executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, and before that she was chief legal officer at The AZEK Company.
Look at the path: McDermott Will & Emery, senior legal roles at Century Aluminum and Thompson Creek Metals, then two top legal jobs. That is the classic ladder from law firm to general counsel and chief legal officer. She also lands mid-turnaround, with the company reshuffling leadership and agreeing to sell its Fiberon decking business, so a CLO who knows deals and boards will be busy. The Chicago legal jobs market keeps moving…
As the company put it: “Fox brings more than 20 years of legal experience, including more than 15 years in-house at publicly traded companies.”
