Michael Regier Steps Down as General Counsel and Secretary of Vanderbilt University Medical Center

Michael Regier left the role of General Counsel and Secretary at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on February 15, 2024, according to VUMC News.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center announced that Michael Regier, its general counsel and secretary, would retire at the end of the academic year. He became the medical center’s first general counsel after joining as special counsel in 2016, ahead of its separation from Vanderbilt University, and is succeeded by Douglas Mefford effective July 1.
