Nearly Two-Thirds of Parents Want Their Kids to Become Lawyers

Well the results are in and they may be surprising to those watching the legal industry. Forget high legal unemployment rates and soaring law school costs – parents want their kids to become lawyers:

Mamas have long been advised to not let their babies grow up to be cowboys, but rather to let them be doctors and lawyers and such. And judging from a new survey by Lawyers.com, the mamas are taking that advice to heart — and the papas are, too.

According to the survey, 64 percent of parents hope their children will grow up to pursue legal careers.
