
Maybe the accounting profession is serious about taking over the legal profession. Beware the bean-counters, they are storming the gates:
“The big U.K. accounting firms are continuing their aggressive push into legal services, with Ernst & Young LLP buying an existing law firm with the goal of increasing its presence in technology-led services. EY agreed to buy northwest England-based Riverview Law, a technology-focused law firm employing 100 people. When the deal closes at the end of August, the firm will be renamed EY Riverview Law. Chris Price, EY’s Global Head of Alliances, will take over as its CEO.”
