Top Legal Officers Have Law Firms on Chopping Block

According to a recent survey, many law firms may end up terminated by their in-house clients this year:

“Nearly a third of global general counsel and chief legal officers last year ended at least one relationship with a law firm or outside counsel because of performance issues, according to a survey. Nearly 50 percent of the 1,100 in-house counsel who responded to the survey said they might end their outside counsel relationship in 2017, Corporate Counsel (sub. req.) reports.”
