Milestone: More Women Than Men in Law School

A milestone has been achieved – there are more women than men in law school for the first time:

“For the first time ever, women make up a slight majority of students enrolled at American Bar Association-accredited law schools…The ABA data shows 55,728 women are enrolled in law schools. Put another way: 50.3 percent of J.D. students nationwide are women. It’s the highest percentage of women since the ABA began keeping track of gender and law school enrollment in 1963.”
