Robert Half Legal has released its latest report which contains data on projected inhouse counsel salaries for 2017. The report shows a salary range (from small to large sized companies) of $137,500 to $269,500 for lawyers with 10+ years of experience, $111,500 to $224,750 for lawyers with 4-9 years of experience, and $87,000 to $166,750 for lawyers with 0-3 years of experience. These figures reflect a 3.3% increase from 2016 for both the most experienced lawyers at the largest companies and the least experienced attorneys at smaller companies – with some areas in between peaking at a 5.0% increase.The Robert Half Salary Guide gives guidance on positions in demand, as well as methods for adjusting the figures based on where the in-house attorney will be working.
