About

InhouseBlog is owned and operated by Albish Publishing, LLC. The Editor-in-Chief of this site is Geoffrey G. Gussis, Esq.

When I’m not working on InhouseBlog in my free time, I work as an attorney with Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti LLP, a full-service law firm located in Morristown, New Jersey. Riker also has offices in Trenton, New Jersey, New York, New York, and London, England. I serve on the firm’s Hiring, Pro Bono and Technology Committees. My primary area of practice is corporate law, with a focus on information technology, software/ASP licensing and intellectual property transactions.

I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995 with a B.A., magna cum laude, in International Relations. I received my J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 1998, where I was an Associate Editor of the law review. My article, “Website Development Agreements: A Guide to Planning and Drafting” was published in 1998, and subsequently reprinted in The Best in Ecommerce Law by Bowne Publishing.

I’m sure you’re wondering about my inhouse connection - I spent a number of years as an inhouse attorney with a marketing and advertising services company. While there, I accumulated links to a number of online tools and resources that made my job easier. After returning to private practice, I found myself forwarding helpful links to my inhouse counterparts - and thought that this blog would be a way to shortcut that process and provide a permanent resource. Since then, it’s grown far beyond my initial expectations and is now part of Law.com’s blog network. Its content has also been featured on the Association of Corporate Counsel website.
