Overtime 101

    The concept doesn’t seem all that complicated — non-exempt employees who work overtime are paid time and a half for their additional hours. So what’s the big deal? The big deal, says attorney Jennifer Feldman, is that many employers — including some of the nation’s largest — are improperly calculating overtime for their non-exempt employees, and it has the potential to cost them millions.
