Lesson Plans to Help GCs Avoid ‘Club Fed’

General counsel figure prominently in the governmental investigations and, more frequently these days, in the indictments and convictions or guilty pleas. Learning from others’ mistakes is far less costly than learning from one’s own, says former Safeway GC Michael C. Ross. Here are a few lessons that might keep in-house counsel from gaining first-hand experience under the gun or, worse, spending time in “Club Fed.”
