Steel City Blues: In-House Legal Jobs Lacking in Pittsburgh?

When Pittsburgh attorney Doug Harhai was downsized out of a corporate counsel position last April, he decided to go out on his own, opening The Law Office of Douglas Harhai two months after he was laid off from Igate Mastech Inc. Harhai’s decision was influenced greatly by his perception of the lack of growth potential for corporate counsel in Pittsburgh. How does the in-house legal job market in Pittsburgh compare to other cities?

Note: A quick look at InhouseBlog.com’s Job Board doesn’t turn up much in Pittsburgh – but a lot of jobs in other areas!
