A warning to all: don’t ignore your font licenses

    Yet another item to add to the IP/compliance audit checklist - fonts!

    "The need for valid software licences is well known. Less widely appreciated is the need for valid font licences. London’s Campden Publishing has just fallen foul of this, resulting in a hefty payment of �80,000 to the Business Software Alliance. It claimed to be using just one font but in fact was found using 11,000. It was also missing software licences. So like many others that have faced BSA investigations, it paid up to avoid a copyright infringement lawsuit."
