Your company uses non-disclosure agreements to protect its confidential information - but does it have a comprehensive confidential information policy? It should, as Todd Mayover points out:
"Companies use a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) to protect against the unwanted disclosure of its proprietary or confidential business information by employees, vendors or other business partners. While an NDA is a commonly used tool to protect a company’s proprietary information, it is also necessary to implement a confidential information policy to ensure that the terms of the NDA are adhered to."
