Four Law Firms Said to Be Eyeing Mergers

The recent uptick in mergers and acquisitions activity may be spreading to the legal market according to a Law.com article:

"In separate negotiations, four law firms are said to be engaged in serious merger talks: Pittsburgh-based Reed Smith is talking with Chicago firms, including Wildman Harrold Allen & Dixon — and Cleveland’s Squire Sanders & Dempsey is reportedly on the verge of swallowing up Miami’s Steel Hector & Davis.
