If You Quit Today, What Would You Do?

Robert Half Legal found out the answer through a recent survey of 200 attorneys at the nation’s largest law firms and corporations.  The attorneys found the following alternative careers appealing:

"Mediation or alternative dispute resolution counselor 54%
Law school professor or lecturer 49%
Nonprofit or public interest legal services provider 41%
    Expert witness 20%
    Patent expert 11%
    Researcher 11%
Politician (specifically, district attorney or attorney general) 9%"

It’s obvious that InhouseBlog’s readership was left out of the survey pool (yet again).  Our informal survey conducted today by telephone resulted in the following Top 3 post-law careers of choice: (1) Maui tour guide (2) Mega Millions lottery winner and (3) Donald Trump’s next apprentice.
